I am currently researching and trying to educate myself on building a stock screener to find gap up, low float, high volume - all of these premarket to trade the gap up at the market opening. If you have any references on how to proceed I would greatly appreciate them. I would like to easily incorporate all the criteria into one scan.

I had a stock screener tutorial at one time, but it's been outdated I am pretty sure. Regardless, use a website like google or yahoo finance, grab the data you need for the list of stocks by parsing it from the webpage, run your numbers, and return just the stocks that meet your criteria.
